Aggressive behaviour is conflict that:

  • May be intentional or unintentional

  • May be direct or indirect

  • Can take many forms, including physical, verbal, and social

  • Can occur once or can be repeated

  • Can happen within a weak relationship

  • Can be experienced in a number of ways, including physical, mental, emotional, and psychological harm

Negative teasing and aggression can lead to bullying when:

  • There is a power imbalance

  • There is intent to cause harm

  • It causes harm or distress

  • It is typically repeated
