Cyber Bullying

  • Sending mean and sometimes threatening texts or emails

  • Spreading gossip or rumours that damage a reputation

  • Hacking into accounts and sending hurtful comments under an assumed identity

  • Creating hurtful blogs or websites that have content that ridicules others

  • Creating polling sites where individuals are asked to rate individual's character

  • Posting embarrassing photos of other or emailing pictures

  • Revealing pesonal information about others online

  • Posting false and hurtful messages in chat rooms or bulletin boards

  • Excluding people deliberately from emails or other social platforms

People who participate in cyber bullying are hiding behind screens, and can harm someone psychologically. This makes people feel isolated, lonely, afraid and have despair.
