SHORT TERM EFFECTS
Bullying can even change the cells in our body, and can negatively affect what happens to us as adults.
It is not a normal part of growing up.
Painful emotions (e.g., embarrassment, sadness, fear, guilt and/or anger)
Lack of confidence and self esteem
Not wanting to participate in day to day activities
Symptoms of stress (e.g., headaches, stomach aches, changes in sleep or eating)

Break off into smaller groups and act out what the interaction might be like in different scenarios
1) A student being teased for dropping a pass in football
2) A student picked last or not picked for a team.
3) A student receiving mean messages online.
